Step 01.

Prepare the paste by grinding the dried chillies, lemongrass, galangal, shallots, garlic and ginger. Grind into paste.

Now, heat up the cooking oil. Fry the mixes of cardamom, cloves, star anise, cinnamon sticks and curry leaf stalks over low heat until fragrant.
